Position in our Inventory Department
The Company:
Join our environmentally committed and friendly group. We are a 13 year old company that manufactures traditional lighting including chandeliers, sconces, table and floor lamps, and exterior lanterns.
We sell our fixtures direct to the Design and Architecture trade through our showrooms in New York, Greenwich, Chicago, Los Angeles, and London.
All of our manufacturing is done at our facility in Brooklyn.
Job Outline:
1. Receive and check specifications to-print on incoming shipments
2. Conduct regular physical inventory and organization of inventory.
3. Pull inventoried parts for specific assemblies from a bill of materials and organize trays of parts based on client orders.
4. Pull and track replacements for parts damaged in manufacturing process.
5. Assist in maintenance of inventory files and documents.
An excellent candidate for this position will be detail oriented as well as able to observe the whole picture, able to follow a process and able to work without close supervision.
Requirements:
Superior analytical skills
Facility with Excel, Word, Quickbooks, and Filemeaker Pro
Preferences:
Any experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment as well as design/engineering experience.
